Meet the Founder: Kristin Allred, MBA

A Leader in California Behavioral Health

With over 27 years of frontline experience, Kristin Allred has been instrumental in shaping mental health rehabilitation in California. Her extensive background includes the development, expansion, and successful management of programs serving adults with serious and persistent mental illness, including those who are justice-involved or deemed Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST). She has consistently prioritized quality of care, length of stay, and culturally responsive programming, even amid regulatory upheaval, economic stress, and national staffing shortages.

Her experience spans licensing, accreditation, clinical staffing, cultural and linguistic responsiveness, and developing programs in rural and under-resourced communities. Kristin's expertise was honed through leadership roles, including at Alpine Special Treatment Center and Harborview Center. LicensIQ is the culmination of this deep, practical knowledge, designed to support other providers in navigating the complexities of the behavioral health landscape with confidence and strategic insight.

Smart Systems for Complex Care.

LicensIQ exists to help behavioral health providers not just stay open — but truly heal communities. As California expands access to care, especially for justice-involved, underserved, and rural populations, real treatment — not just placement — must be the goal.
